Freedom 95® Gas Furnace

By converting 95% or more of the fuel you pay for into heat for your home, American Standard's Energy Star® qualified furnaces help take the sting out of even the harshest winter. And with advanced technologies that help reduce temperature swings and provide just the right amount of heat, you can depend upon quiet comfortable warmth, day in and day out.

Designed with advanced components like an aluminized steel primary heat exchanger and stainless steel secondary heat exchanger, American Standard's Freedom 95 furnaces offer unfailing reliability while providing some of the highest levels of efficiency on the market — advantages that help you save on energy costs and keep your home the perfect temperature year after year.

Furnaces with two stages of heat, like Freedom 95®, typically run at the first, more efficient stage (65% of capacity) during the coldest days for energy-conserving operation that helps you save on your monthly utility bills. And when the heating cycle ends, the blower runs a few moments longer — increasing air circulation and evenly distributing warmth throughout your home.

The efficiency of furnaces is reflected in a percentage known as Annual Fuel Utilization Efficiency (AFUE) set by the U.S. Department of Energy. Furnaces that surpass 90% AFUE qualify as Energy Star for their exceptional level of efficiency. American Standard's Freedom 95® furnaces meet and exceed this standard, delivering up to 96.7% AFUE for superior efficiency and cost-effectiveness that may even qualify you for an energy tax credit. (Consult with your tax advisor to determine what qualifies for a tax credit or refer to the rules of the Internal Revenue Code.)
